1. Definitions
In these General Terms and Conditions:
1.1. Museumshop The Hague: Museumshop The Hague, located at Ooststraat 43 2584XC The Hague.
1.2. customer: the buyer of goods, being a natural person who does not act in the exercise of a profession or business.
2. Applicability
2.1. These General Terms and Conditions apply to all offers of, orders to and agreements with Museumshop The Hague insofar as not expressly deviated from in writing.
2.2. The placing of an order takes place under acceptance of the applicability of these General Terms and Conditions.
3. Offers and formation agreements

3.2. The customer receives a confirmation of the order by e-mail (order confirmation). This confirmation is not an acceptance of the offer, but merely an information for the customer that the order has arrived at Museumshop The Hague.

4. Revocation clause Right of withdrawal

4.2. The trial period of 14 days starts with the receipt of this cancellation clause, but not before the goods have been delivered to the customer. 4.5. If the delivered items show obvious material or manufacturing defects, including transport damage, the customer must inform the customer service department of Museumshop The Hague in writing immediately, in any case within the period of 14 days after delivery.
4.6. The right to return does not apply to items that have been adjusted according to the customer's wishes
Consequences of the cancellation
4.7. In the event of a cancellation, amounts already paid and any use will be settled with each other. In this case the customer notifies his bank details if he has not already known about it at Museumshop Den Haag. If the customer can not return the received product or the use thereof, partially or only in bad condition, the customer must reimburse the value. This does not apply if the deterioration of the product is solely due to checking the product before use. 4.8. The costs of return are at the expense of the customer.

4.10. In advance payment Museumshop Den Haag pays back the purchase price including the shipping costs for the sending within 30 days to the customer.
5. Warranty
5.1. All that is stipulated in this article regarding the warranty of products is without prejudice to the rights and claims that the law assigns to the customer.
5.2. The guarantee expires if repairs have been carried out by third parties, in the case of defects caused by improper use, if the article is poorly maintained or if there is negligence.
5.3. For all defects or faults of articles occurring during the legally stipulated warranty period, the customer has the option of choosing repair, replacement or a (partial) reimbursement of the purchase price. In the case of special legal conditions, the customer has a far-reaching claim for compensation or reduction of the purchase price, as well as for compensation of the damage instead of the acceptance and replacement of the unsuccessful expenses.
5.4. The right to guarantee, financial compensation or reduction of the purchase price only exists if the counter-claim is undisputedly declared legally valid or approved in writing by Museumshop The Hague.
5.5. The statutory warranty period is two years.
6. Prices
6.1. The prices at the time of the order are valid.
6.2. All prices are in euros and including the VAT percentage applicable in the supplier country.
6.3. Shipping costs are not included in the prices mentioned. Before sending the order, the total price including shipping costs will be communicated via the website of Museumshop The Hague.
6.4. The shipping costs of orders within the Netherlands are included in the price, from 50 euros. The shipping costs of orders outside Europe depend on the weight of the package.
6.5. The minimum order value is 5 euros (excluding shipping costs).
7. Delivery and delivery time
7.1. In principle, products in stock are sent by Museumshop The Hague within seven days. Museumshop The Hague will execute accepted orders with convenient speed but at least within 30 days. If the delivery is either temporarily out of stock or delayed for other reasons, or if an order can not or only partially be executed, the customer will receive notification no later than one month after placing the order. iDEAL is a secure form of internet banking whereby the customer is guided to his bank's internet banking site during the order. In the trusted environment of the bank, the customer can safely handle the payment of his order. After the customer has received a confirmation from his bank, the customer returns to Museumshop Den Haag.nl and receives an order confirmation.
iDEAL cooperates with these Dutch banks: ABN Amro, ASN Bank, Fortis, Friesland Bank, ING, Rabobank, SNS Bank, Regio Bank, Triodos Bank and Van Landschot Bankiers.
PayPal
PayPal is the secure, easy way of paying online without having to reveal your credit card number, for example. After payment via PayPal, the customer returns to Museumshop Den Haag.nl and receives an order confirmation.
Credit card
For payment by credit card (Visa, American Express, Mastercard and Diners Club), the customer needs the credit card number, the exact name as stated on the credit card, the expiration date and the CVC code. The payment is authorized online so that the customer immediately knows whether or not it is approved. As soon as the products have been prepared for dispatch, Museumshop The Hague sends the invoice details to the credit card company within 2 days. The amount will be debited according to the customer's personal settlement period. 8.2. Payment must be made without discount or compensation.
8.3. When paying by bank transfer, the customer is obliged to pay the invoice amount within 14 (fourteen) days after receipt of the goods. This concerns the receipt date of the payment at Museumshop The Hague.
8.4. If the customer does not pay the amounts due within the agreed term, reminder costs will be charged.
9. Reservation of ownership
9.1. The ownership of delivered products is only transferred if the customer has met all that the customer owes to Museumshop Den Haag on the basis of any agreement. The risk in respect of the products already passes to the customer at the time of delivery.

11. Final provisions
11.1. All offers of and agreements with Museumshop The Hague are exclusively subject to German law, with the exception of the rules of the international and the UN Convention on international purchase agreements (CISG).
